So Luke, what's been eating you??
What's been eating me? The fact that people don't honor someone who comes from left field with ideas & makes things happen with none to minimal assistance.
I'm in Virginia. It's a lot of things pertaining to the game (Entertainment wise) that people just don't do. On top of them not doing it, THEY JUST DON'T THINK ABOUT DOING IT!!
But for someone to come in, and disrespect you by taking credit for what you've put your all into is just in the fucking way!
Yes, it seems petty, but if you've been in a situation even remotely close, then you definitely feel where I am coming from.
This post is quite vague, but you get the idea of what I am saying.
As I do, STAY IN YOUR OWN LANE, MAKE THINGS HAPPEN FOR YOURSELF, AND STOP TAKING CREDIT OR AT LEAST ATTEMPTING TO TAKE CREDIT FOR WORK THAT YOU DIDN'T DO, AND MOVES THAT YOU HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA TO MAKE!!!
.............if I ain't on my grind, then what you call that?!?

Rick Ross - Cigar Music (produced by Bink )
-shouts to my nigga Bink on this joint...hometeam
J.M.B est 5/19/1983
Wow, another day, another year...........26......I made it. Crazy. The way things have been going, I kinda thought it would be a little harder to reach than it actually was. But since I'm here, maybe it's a sign. A sign that I am over reacting in a sense, and that things are actually progressing, and moving upward, rather than the opposite.
This past year has been one like anyone elses. Filled with ups & downs. Set ups & set backs. To be perfectly honest, I hate anything that isn't beneficial to me, but they say God will never put anything on you that you cant handle, in addition to the fact you have to be strong to make it through life period. Well I hope all that I've been through, and the way I've withstood it all, is a sign to God that I am indeed ready for that ultimate blessing.
I just hope to remain strong even after receiving them. Continue to stray away from the fake, phony, no good ass mufuckas that wander my life for whatever reason ( & GOD knows I've encountered a rack of them). Stay focused, and continue living by that motto, "show and prove". We all have mouths, so talking isn't much of a task. It's the doing part that holds the most weight.
I stopped, for like an hr. and picked back up so I'm quite sure I slid off subject in a sense, but in just, I love my family. If I speak to you without you speaking, or acknowledge your being, then you already know what it is!!!

Word to Danger Mouse
Danger Mouse, the amazing mashup artist, producer, and half of Gnarls Barkley, is unable to release his newest album due to legal battles with his label, so he's embracing piracy to get his music heard.
After "legal battles," Danger Mouse's new album has been shelved by his label, EMI. But fearful that his work would never be heard, Danger Mouse came up with an idea to get his music out there while at the same time showing his anger at EMI. The album, entitled Dark Night of the Soul, will be sold as a "100+ page book" of photographs inspired by the music and taken by David Lynch, and will include a blank CD-R to be filled with torrented mp3s. All copies will be clearly labelled:
'For Legal Reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will.'
- Dan Nosowitz

Rapper T.I. coming to Arkansas _ for prison term
By JON GAMBRELL
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Rapper T.I. will be coming to Arkansas — to serve a federal prison sentence.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford J. Harris Jr., must report to Forrest City's low-security federal prison by noon on May 26, according to court filings. There, Harris will join 1,500 other inmates as he serves a year-and-one-day prison sentence after pleading guilty in March to federal weapons charges in Atlanta.
The rapper, the self-proclaimed "King of the South," had faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each charge in his three-count indictment.
Harris will be credited for 305 days of home detention he already has served after being charged, so his stay at the Forrest City prison likely will be only two months.
R.D. Weeks, a spokesman for the prison, said Harris likely would be treated like any other prisoner coming into the facility.
"Unless there are custody or security concerns, all incoming inmates are placed in general population," Weeks told The Associated Press.
Weeks said each cell at the prison is double-bunked. Harris also will have the opportunity to use the recreation yard, as well as take part in counseling or participate in the one of the facility's 14 religious groups, Week said.
Harris, 28, was arrested after trying to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers from undercover federal agents in 2007. That came after Harris' best friend was killed following a post-performance party in Cincinnati in 2006. The rapper has said the bullets that killed his friend were meant for him.
Upon his release, Harris will be on probation for three years. He also must pay a $100,000 fine as part of his sentence.
Harris' sixth album, "Paper Trail," has sold about 2 million copies and the rapper earned a Grammy for the song "Swagga Like Us" that he performed with Jay-Z. Harris wrote the lyrics for the album while awaiting trial.

Fuck what anyone says, the man snitched. And his paper allowed him to do so without his name being on those Federal documents.
There's NO way in the world, that he faced 10 yrs, got 1 yr and a day which is equivalent to what, 10mos in Fed time....then will end up ultimately doing 2mos and ain't tell a damn thing!!!

Luke = Jonathan Brabham
So, getting everything together that I have my hands on is taking A LOT longer than anticipated, but it's cool. I am a one man machine right now. It's minimal paper involved, so that's one reason I suppose I rock alone. Another reason, is that, initially when starting something from the ground up, each move has to be, to me, on 1000, and I can't afford any mistakes, or anything done in a fashion in which I wouldn't have handled it.
I often find myself wishing, that I at least had slightly envisioned myself in the field in which I am breaking into today.
I played ball, and was pretty decent too. Playing AAU since what, 10-11 up until high school, yeah, I'd consider that to be pretty good. So with that being said, I obviously had hoop dreams. But when fashion and girls became a focus of some sort, I was forced by self, to get a job, so I could maintain beyond what my mother would provide.
So putting the ball aside, I figured, hell, becoming a chef might be the route to go. So I fell deep into, envisioning myself going to Johnson & Wales, majoring in Culinary Arts, and seeing where that would lead me. I think my senior yr (2001) or the year after I was to graduate, Johnson & Wales (Norfolk Campus) was to be no more. So for whatever reason I put that on the back burner for good, at least from an educational, career standpoint.
Fast FWD to now, I'm doing my thing, and doing it well..LOL *cue LL Cool J*
But I just wish I had half a clue back then....................

Clipse x Bun B - Kinda Like A Big Deal (unofficial remix)
It's only right, as well as expected that people start throwing their own verses to the summers anthem "Kinda Like A Big Deal" by The Clipse.......here's a joint with OG Bun B......it seems as if the mp3 has been deleted from Zshare...so here's the next best thing......
FamLay.......
..Uhhh, To whom it may concern
We the people who enjoy good music, would love to see and hear more from our friend FamLay.....It's been quite some time since Da Beeper Record dropped. I understand he's got a new single out as well. In addition to that can we get an accompanying video, and an ever so steady flow of material from our good ol pal to keep us all satisfied and of course, to keep Nielsen cuttin him checks. I'm sure that would keep everyone from ALL angles satisfied. I'm not asking for much. No record deal. No paid college tuition, none of that. Just some good ol fashioned 757 flavor!
Thanks in advance, because I'm sure, that someone will hear the cries, and answer our calls!!
-Luke
..either the music, or some sort of syndicated show.

Give me your opinions.....
I'm thinking about remixing this joint here. Of course switching out "D" with the letter "P".......
But pretty much with the same message, and same video imagery.....
Maybe I can even get T-Baby to hold me down on the hook or as a leading lady role in the video......that's if I'm lucky.......

Drake (live)
Now don't get me wrong, or get my words fucked up. Dude is EXTREMELY nice. But honestly, WHY do the masses like him? I personally know people who have just gotten on him within the past 2mos, whereas he's been doing his thing for obviously much longer than that.......Hell The I Am Music Tour has been over close to that if not 2mos.....
I often wonder, if people weren't afraid to just LIKE WHAT THEY LIKE, how much further ahead this guy would be in his career as an artist.
A lot of his followers are those confused by, and affiliated with the cult like following of that of Mr. Carter, Dwayne Carter that is. But do they really enjoy Drake's music? Do they really enjoy Wayne's music? Or do they feel obligated to fk with one, because of their admiration as well as loyalty for whatever reason to the other?
In any event, he is definitely one to watch for the remainder of 09, and well into 2010. But as far as I am concerned, I need to hear more material of what he intends to be. Meaning, he's going to have to pick between R&B or Hip Hop, unless he knows the same MAGIC tricks that T.I. knows that only pinned him to a year and a day (and some even speculate that that even has changed to 10mos recently) for his Fed gun case, to make him a super R&B slash Hip Hop star.
I think his rhymes are dope, in addition to him having a decent voice when it comes to singing, but I'd much rather hear him spitting that harmonizing.

Just in this kind of mood.......
You can NEVER go wrong when you run across older joints that used to put your mind & ears at ease......
I suppose it's safe to finally say.........
WELCOME BACK CAM!!!
You know, he'd pop up, and then fade out before. But lately he's been beyond consistent with the material, has an album date set in place, videos floating around, jumping on tracks with other artists, and his latest, from what I heard, his crazy show @ The Highline Ballroom in NYC.

Jeezy x T.I.
.....so does anyone know exactly when Mr. Harris is going to prison?
I mean truthfully, any man who catches a Fed charge and can stay on the streets for as long as possible, I'm def. with them. But I'm just saying...........
I even heard through the Twitter-vine, that he was spotted in VA this afternoon, hitting up one of the nations most known boutiques.......

AZ - Get Money
I always wondered why people never took onto AZ, as they did anyone else who came it in that mid 90s, Queens rap era. My man has to be one of the illest, and to me needs to AT LEAST be mentioned, when speaking on the best that's ever done it. Personally, I put him in the top 10 of all time, mainly due to his DEBUT CLASSIC, "DOE OR DIE".
Here he is with one of his latest joints, Get Money.
